I can't to wait to watch 2008.08.08 Beijing Olympic........

This day finally has comes. Chinese people like "8" numbering because it represents wealth and prosperity. We only able to meet 08.08.08 once a lifetime, definitely we can't to meet our second 08.08.08 in the next 100 years which falls in 2108 year. Can you alive until that day? hopefully.....

I have watched the 2008 Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony with my house mates at home.

All of us sat in front of TV and waiting for the life show programme. Wow....one word - WOW!

It was so awesome. I think programme director Zhang Yu Mou done a good job. He successfully brought audience to 5000 years Chinese historical and culture. It just like a classic drama with perfect vision and sound effects. Maybe all the while i am interested at Chinese Culture and historical even visited beijing, shang hai and many other places in China before.

This opening ceremony was so amazing and wonderful that i had ever watched and expected. The fireworks were real and spectacular. The most unforgotten show was thousand of people playing Tai-Chi in a circle, i can feel that the strong united spirit inside it.

If you are watching Olympic in the starting time, you would see the stepfoot fireworks that stepping into stadium. its just that it's too dangerous for the helicopters to get so close to record the fireworks so they had to "enhance" it on TV. but nontheless the fireworks were real and the ceremony was SPECTACULAR.

Did you watch Beijing Olympic Opening Ceremony? Come and just share with me how is your feeling.

Guess what is this? is it a boat? No...no...it is actually a "congkat".

Have you ever heard about "Congkat"? As the Congkak shaped like a boat and there is a legend saying that a fisherman unable to go to the sea during raining season and he loss his income during this time. He uses the free time to create this game which is similar to his boat.

It is believe that Congkak is the traditional Malay game. Looking at the above photo, congkat is make up of wood craft. There toally has 16 holes with 2 big holes and 7 small holes where holes are make in two parallel in line and the final big hole is called "Kampong" (in English means village).

The game generally started by 2 players sitting face to face and they will putting the small ball called "guli" into hole wood step by step until one party putting his/her ball into final destination which is called "Kampong". The person will winning all the ball that adverse with his/her hole.

In fact, i never play this game before. Mostly this game will playing by Malay friends.
