Have you ever heard about "Congkat"? As the Congkak shaped like a boat and there is a legend saying that a fisherman unable to go to the sea during raining season and he loss his income during this time. He uses the free time to create this game which is similar to his boat.

It is believe that Congkak is the traditional Malay game. Looking at the above photo, congkat is make up of wood craft. There toally has 16 holes with 2 big holes and 7 small holes where holes are make in two parallel in line and the final big hole is called "Kampong" (in English means village).

The game generally started by 2 players sitting face to face and they will putting the small ball called "guli" into hole wood step by step until one party putting his/her ball into final destination which is called "Kampong". The person will winning all the ball that adverse with his/her hole.

In fact, i never play this game before. Mostly this game will playing by Malay friends.

I like eating Mantis Prawn since i was a kid. I am from a fishing village where i can eat and find variety seafood easily. I miss my home town food very much. However it was found that most of the seafood caught in my home town will sending to hypermarket in Kuala Lumpur area.

wow.....quite difficult to open the durian
Just taking durian with your fingers...it will taste better!

This durian has pleasant taste and aroma. I like the taste very much because it got two taste for different sides. One side was sweet, the other side was bitter taste. For me, i would prefer bitter taste because it is nice just like a coffee and ice cream. This is the special durian that i had ever taste before. Every durian tastes slighly different, this might different durian tree has their own gen consisting different taste. It can have sweet, bittersweet, bitter or even different tastes.
Some people hate about the durian taste and aroma in the first time taking; but after a few times taking durian, you sure will love it.
